This is my "extra in Clueless" outfit. Really love being able to wear jumpers again, although if i'm completely honest, it still does get a bit hot and sweaty sometimes.

RE my last post: thanks to everyone for being so lovely but i feel a bit embarassed. It wasn't supposed to be a "woe is me, i'm a fatty (please tell me i'm not fat)" sort of post because how much i/anyone weighs is really no big deal. Just an observation/complaint about the culture gap between me and my family. My relatives aren't cruel, just chinese; "you've gained weight" is a standard greeting that i can never get used to. Ah, I'm always chinese in england and english in china.

:) Love this look - definitely catching on to the Clueless vibe. It's weird, I've been getting a major urge to watch that film lately..

I understand what you mean when it comes to those crappy little cultural normalcies that cease to become normal. I've lived in Russia twice in my life and there were a lot of little things to get used to..

I miss jumpers too, but I only get to wear them at work at the moment, and that's because of the air conditioning. Now I have a cold so maybe it's an excuse...?

The amount of times I've been told by my relatives "why are you so thin on top yet so heavy on the bottom" is so numerous my mind just blank out automatically now. Sigh, they nag because they care. Totally hear you on the too English in China and too Chinese in England thing.

Anyway, you look beautiful as usual. We can now be CHECK TWINZZZ

Ahh those last three posts! You got WANGS! They are beautiful. And I love overeating (and oversized). And is that Newcastle I spy behind your pretty, Clueless look? I lived there for a while... I miss it dearly :(

Thank you for your well wishes. I'm much recovered now!

i adore that skirt; i love that it alludes to the clueless aesthetic, but is a bit longer. miniskirts and the plaid never really did for me, even on cher. close. but not quite.

love your blog, thanks for sharing all your thoughts and photographs.

I totally know what you mean, I'm half chinese - so I get your drift with the 'complimentary' greetings :P
Love your blog + your style!
